DICOTA cordially invites you to the 2019 Health Forum: Mobilize4Health, Galvanizing Diaspora Action to Advance Health in Tanzania at the Howard University School of Law in Washington DC. This is the second health forum, following a successful 2017 DICOTA Health Forum which focused on the role of Tanzania’s diaspora in improving healthcare.

Over 130 healthcare enthusiasts and practitioners, including Tanzanian Government Officials, healthcare professionals, non-profit and business leaders, and friends of Tanzania, attended the event. This year, we are honored to co-host this forum with the Department of African Studies at Howard University.

Our 2019 theme, Mobilize4Health, aspires to bring and bind great minds together, while at the same time kindling a fire deep within their hearts, that each of us will be moved in our own ways to improve healthcare in Tanzania. It also calls upon us to step into action. Many of us are just waiting to be activated. When we do, and get re-connected and engage in action, our collective song will pleasantly surprise many.

Let’s join our powerful and resourceful minds, our expertise, and our love for Tanzania because it is only when we go together, can we go far.
