Diaspora Fi (Diaspora Financial Investing) is an initiative designed by the DICOTA to increase diaspora investments in the financial capital markets in Tanzania, and thereby contributing to increasing private financial flows beyond remittances.
Specifically, Diaspora Fi is designed to:
Enhance comprehension of Tanzania's instrument vehicles among the Diaspora.
Foster a investor mentality while bolstering investor trust among diaspora.
Activate and promote diaspora investments in the financial capital markets.
Advocate and facilitate an efficient and effective diaspora investment process and policy in financial capital markets.
